“The Theory of Industrial Organization” is the first primary text to treat the new industrial organization at the advanced-undergraduate and graduate level. He then develops topics having to do with long term competition, including barriers to entry, contestability, exit, and research and development. About the Author
Dr. Katherine Miller is a leading scholar on communication in healthcare organizations. She holds bachelors and masters degrees in communication from Michigan State University, and a doctorate from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California. She served on the faculties of the University of Kansas, Arizona State University, and Michigan State University, and has been a professor in Texas A&M University’s Department of Communication since 1998. Dr. Miller is the author of three books and more than 50 journal articles and book chapters.

He has published extensively in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Journal of Accounting Research, and the Contemporary Accounting Research journal. he currently on the editorial board of the Review of Accounting Studies. He is known around the world for his research in Financial Accounting.
