A unique, senior years national resource for Japanese language in the form of a ‘look it up’ reference manual, with sections on major language points: grammar / language functions, verbs, adjectives and kanji. Shirabeyo – Japanese Look-it-up includes a guide to main structure building, pronunciation, and usage across any topic and theme, presented in table forms. It covers all mandatory aspects of Japanese language as prescribed or recommended by the various syllabus documents for senior years, unrelated to any textbook and topic-based chapter/unit. It is the check-list of what teachers and students need to know for course completion in any Australian state or territory. It can also be used by background language learners and by university students for the entire duration of their courses. The book showcases main language and grammar points, including polite vs. plain structures and kanji, and consists of four ‘Look-it-up’ sections: • grammar and language functions mandatory for students in senior secondary Japanese across all syllabi/curricula • all verbs needed by students in senior secondary Japanese • all adjectives mandatory to all students • all kanji, with pertinent information, mandatory.
